Halloween - again!

Lara posing beautifully

We have just experienced Halloween for the second time (first time for Oscar of course!) and I must say it was really quite uneventful this year. Of course we do live in a very quiet village but we guess all the ghosts and ghoulies that usually go around the houses left us alone so that we didn't get too scared.

Thank you so much - it really is very frightening for pets at this time of year so we really are grateful that you left us in peace!

It is much colder here now - gone are the lazy days relaxing in the sunshine and we now look for cosy places to curl up away from the east wind.

My favourite is the 'cat's cradle' which fixes on to the radiator. When the heating is on it is a lovely place to while away an hour or two and Oscar and Max haven't really found out about it yet so I don't have to defend my territory from them!

We have spent the morning lazing in the conservatory posing for photos for our Christmas cards.

Max looking distinguished

Oscar looking handsome

We decided we would do as Joan wanted and let her have some photos as she hasn't bothered us too much recently because her mother is rather poorly. Of course before we posed we played with the cloth she wanted to use as a background and hid behind it and fought each other through it! I am not sure she was too impressed plus Oscar kept tormenting Max whilst he was posing so he does have a slightly worried look don't you think?

Needless to say as soon as the session was finished Max and Oscar decided to have a wild game which started at the top of the climber and ended up back in the conservatory.

They really do have a whale of a time together even if they do play a bit hard sometimes. I enjoy joining in from time to time but not when they are throwing their weight around!

This results in some paw to paw combat!
