Posing prettily
I am not sure where January and February went. We seem to be barely over Christmas and yet Spring can't be very far away now. It has been very warm but not uneventful here. We have had the road closed nearby for three weeks whilst the workmen repaired a hug hole that appeared in October following heavy rain. No sooner had they repaired that than our water pressure went to virtually a trickle and it seemed the pump at the water tower had failed. They came to test our water pressure and let sand into our water mains which clogged up everything (including the meter!) so we had to get them out to fix that. Max decided to shadow the guy that come so we are hoping if we get any more problems Max should be able to fix them and save us having to call out another plumber. We have daffodils blooming in the garden which make it look like Spring and Joan even had to cut the grass at the start of February but it has been too wet to do it again since. We don't know quite what to make of all this mild weather but we have had snow on a couple of days although not really enough to play in! It seems ages since we had a photo session with Joan and we thought she was neglecting us - but she got the camera out yesterday and starting snapping away. I was doing my very best to look pretty and even though I wanted to play with the tease I did sit nicely for a couple of shots and Joan quite likes the one of me grabbing for the tease even if I was moving my paw! Max decided to sit patiently waiting for his turn so Joan managed to get a good shot of him sitting in the wicker chair waiting - he wasn't that keen on posing though when it came to his turn but then again he might just have been trying to keep Joan on her toes? Oscar wasn't really in the mood for posing - Joan got a couple of shots but he wasn't up to much mischief for a change! |

We have all had birthdays over the last couple of months. I am now five years old and so is Max and Oscar has just turned four. Small wonder then that there are now quite a lot of photos of us on this web site - it is amazing how many photos you can pose for over that amount of time. We still get emails from people who have been following us as kittens and we love to read them and hear about their Birmans past and present (and lots of other breeds of cats as well) Lara |
Max isn't sure if he want to pose |
and Oscar isn't that keen either! |
