Easter 2004

Happy Easter to all our readers! It really is a lovely day as I write this on Easter Sunday - the sun is shining and it is quite warm. So warm in fact that Joan has opened the door to the conservatory and we are all playing out in the garden.

We have lots of Spring flowers in bloom so we all went out to investigate them. They smell lovely, especially the daffodils and it is good to be able to find our favourite resting places where we can si and watch the birds fly by as they busily gather nesting materials from around the garden.

It really does feel as if the warmer weather is not too far off although Joan does keep warning us not to get too enthusiastic as it is still possible for the weather to spring a few surprises.

I have been spending my time practising climbing again. I had got out of the habit but the trees look so tempting now and of course the birds use them as resting places so it is too good an opportunity to miss.

The other day I tried climbing a fence and that was really good fun - I was pirouetting along the fence between our house and the next door neighbour when Joan reached up and brought me back down to earth!

Oscar checks out the scent

Joan says that she hopes that all the photos of Spring flowers will cheer everyone up. She likes the flowers because she says in the Springtime they all have happy little faces which they turn to face the sun!

The fitness training that I am doing with Oscar is beginning to work. He hasn't slimmed down very much yet but he is getting fitter (I think) as he can keep up better when we do the chase games.

Mind you he still can't turn as fast as Max and I can so we can still run rings around him if we want.
